Investigating
On May 27th, 2025, between 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM (PDT), customers may have experienced traffic disruptions due to an issue with receiving verdicts from the Palo Alto Networks Data Loss Prevention (DLP) service.
Impact: Customers with DLP policy with Action as Block or action-on-max-latency as Block in DLP settings may have seen traffic disruptions during this time window in US region.
Root Cause: An internal service disruption within the DLP infrastructure prevented timely verdict delivery, triggering blocking actions as per configured policy behavior.
Resolution and Remediation: The issue was identified and resolved by 2:00 PM. Remediation steps were implemented to restore full functionality, and the environment is now operating normally.
Next Steps: We are actively monitoring the environment to ensure continued stability. Additionally, we are implementing measures to improve system resilience and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve the issue.
